Rails and fixed top jaw are made of drawn, heat treated steel and plated nickel chrome for strength and durability. Heat treated, high carbon steel threaded screw spindle provides long service and is spatter resistant. Sliding arm is made of forged tempered steel and is removable for spreader applications. Removable endstop to allow the sliding arm to be quickly turned around for spreading. The part number and clamp size is laser etched into the rail for easy reading.
