Description

Norton – Bluefire DC914HCHFHD Depressed Center Wheel – 9 in

Equip your right-angle grinder with the BlueFire ZC ZA/SC Type 27 foundry grinding wheel. The perfect solution for stock removal on cast iron, 400 series stainless, hard and soft carbon steels, and gray iron, this wheel combines a zirconia alumina abrasive with a premium silicon carbide grain, so it lasts two to three times longer than aluminum oxide wheels. Featuring a thick, depressed center, the wheel is suitable for both light and heavy grinding when used at a 30-degree angle. The tough material even withstands tough jobs, such as smoothing parting lines and slag.

Features

  • Combination of patented norton sg ceramic and zirconia alumina grain delivers highest productivity, up to 10 times the performance of aluminum oxide wheels, 50% to 200% better cut rate than competitive zirconia wheels
  • Aggressive, yet well-balanced wheel is easy on the operator and equipment
  • 1/8 in thick wheels are designed to be used at a 90 deg angle for offhand cut-off, notching or 30 deg angle to clean pipes and weld beads
  • Very high productivity and low total cost for 400 series stainless steel, and cast and gray iron applications
