True Color Technology

The True Color Technology allows a realistic color perception so you have a much clearer view of what you are welding.

180 Degree Viewing

Specifically designed to provide maximum eye and face protection from harmful UV and IR radiation emitted when welding, in a lightweight, comfortable housing. The full 180° view provides additional visibility to the sides for added safety and convenience. Auto-Darkening powered by solar cells and lithium-nickel manganese cobalt oxide (Li-Mn) batteries provide long, reliable life. Meets ANSI Z-87.1 safety standards.

Comfortable Head Gear

This welding helmet has a 5 way adjustable headgear with sweat band for the perfect fit and comfort while welding. It will comfortably fit a head circumference between 21.6” – 24.8”.

External Shade Controls

This Eastwood Auto Darkening Welding Helmet has infinitely adjustable sensitivity delay and shade adjustment. The main viewing area can be dimmed from shade 3 to 12, with Grind feature, while the side filters are auto dimmed to shade 11. Grind mode allows you to quickly reshape tungsten, grind spot welds and more without having to the remove the helmet.

proper Protection for laser welding . thanks for any info you can provide.

Only view or purchase "laser" specific protection. Laser welding requires specific protection, including laser-specific eyewear and potentially a laser welding helmet, along with other standard welding PPE. Laser light, particularly invisible laser radiation, can be extremely harmful to the eyes and skin. Do not use this helmet for oxy-acetylene welding or cutting processes, laser welding or low amperage(less than 10 amps) TIG welding.

I have called several times about a replacement parts for my panoramic welding helmet. Talk to two people. Both saying they would get back to me. Never happen. Give up, I guess I’ll just put a paper clip into the helmet part that I need.

Just how clear is the lens when in grinding mode alot i have used not realy clear

Is there a product you can recommend to use a cheater lens with this helmet. Yes I can wear my glasses but in some situations they fog and makes it difficult to see.

Get a pair of safety reading glasses. I got a 3+ for 11 dollars on amazon. They really help. The 3+ is like having X-ray vision.
