Description

AL-BRAZE Brazing Kit – 1/6 in

AL-BRAZE 1070 is a cadmium-free aluminum-silicon brazing filler metal designed for flame brazing aluminum to aluminum. It is formulated to melt below the melting point of brazeable aluminum base metals and its narrow melting range provides rapid flow into the capillary. The kit includes 1/6″ diameter alloy and 1/3 oz. Al-Braze EC brazing flux. Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive.

  • Free-flowing with excellent capillary attraction due to its narrow melting range
  • Excellent ductility and penetration
  • Melts below the melting point of brazeable aluminum base metals
  • Excellent corrosion resistance
  • Ideal for joining aluminum-to-aluminum
  • Not recommended for brazing aluminum directly to non-aluminum alloys as the joint may become brittle
