Odor/Particulate Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator, P100, Medium 6297P1-DC
Genuine 3M Odor/Particulate 6297P1-DC size medium half face piece reusable respirator includes two sets of 3M 2097 P100 filter cartridges. The 6200 series reuseable respirator is compact and lightweight, and can be used for a variety of industrial applications. When paired with the INCLUDED 2097 P100 filter cartridges, the 6200 respirator is ideal for welding applications. The 2097 P100 particulate filter cartridges, with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor Relief* have a minimum filtering efficiency rating of 99.97% for aerosols (e.g., dust, mists, fumes, smoke, mold, bacteria, etc). They are NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles, including welding fumes.
When properly fitted, the 6297 respirator assembly can be used in a variety of applications including: welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering, and exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA – for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). The entire respirator assembly has a low profile and fits easily under most welding helmets.
*3M recommended for relief against nuisance levels of organic vapors. Nuisance level refers to concentrations less than the OSHA PEL or applicable governmental occupational exposure limits, whichever is lower. Do not use for respiratory protection against acid gases or organic vapors. Do not use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
