ProStar Reverse-Flow Check Valves, Torch end

For Torch and Regulator Applications

Reverse-flow check valves guard against danger caused by plugged tips, over-pressurizing, or incorrect setup. Allows gas to flow in one direction, and prevents the reverse flow of gas. Helps prevent accidents caused by gases mixing in regulators, hoses or cylinders. Machined, high-quality brass with stainless steel operating spring and valve disc. Meets or exceeds CGA and OSHA requirements.

Check Valves and Flashback Arrestors Potential harm from both torch flashbacks and backfires is reduced through the use of check valves and flashback arrestors.

B-size 9/16”-18 (14.3 mm) stops reverse flow at the point of origin. Mounts easily on a torch, is readily seen, and can be removed for periodic testing. Flows cut up to 12” (304.8 mm) steel plate, and handle heating tips (1200 scfh at 50 psig).
