PFERD offers a wide range of coated and non-woven abrasive tools for face-down grinding, belt grinding, peripheral grinding, surface conditioning, polishing, and much more. On mounted flap wheels, coated abrasive flaps are arranged radially around the wheel axis in a fan-type structure. Their flexibility enables them to adapt perfectly to the contours of the workpiece. The abrasive grain is embedded in the sturdy, flexible cloth backing material by means of a resinoid bond.
