Welding or plasma cutting can expose air and gas lines, power cords and other lines and cables to sparks and slag. Damage to these lines and cables can delay critical and necessary work or harm the equipment. Slag-Shield Sleeve uses uniquely designed, silicone-formulated Weld Shield material to provide protection. It is also abrasion resistant. Slag-Shield Sleeve has a nominal 5/8-inch inner diameter, allowing it to fit over most lines, cables and cords. Its high-temp hook-and-loop fasteners make installation and removal easy and quick and offers some adjustment to increase or decrease the sleeve ensuring a tight fit.
